The Guayabero Rapids has been a meeting place for various communities over the years. Its name comes from an indigenous tribe that inhabited the region before the arrival of Europeans. Today, it has become a popular tourist destination due to its natural beauty and biodiversity.
The first documentation about the rapids dates back to the late 19th century when it was explored by naturalists interested in its flora and fauna. Currently, conservation efforts are being made to protect this unique ecosystem.

Additionally, the rock paintings present on the rocks are evidence of the cultural and historical value of the area; their study and conservation are important for understanding the presence of ancestral communities.

Climate: Bring light but also waterproof clothing, as it can rain at any time of the year.
