Bioparque Ukumarí is located in the municipality of Dosquebradas, in the department of Risaralda, about 30 minutes by car from Pereira and approximately 1 hour from Manizales. It is situated near the highway that connects to the coffee region.

How to Get to Bioparque Ukumarí

Bioparque Ukumarí is accessible via various transportation options, making it easy to reach from several nearby cities.

  • From Bogotá: Take a flight to Pereira, approximately 1 hour, with a price around $160,000 COP. Then, you can request a taxi or a rideshare vehicle to Bioparque Ukumarí, costing about $30,000 COP.

  • From Pereira: At the terminal, take the Mega Cable to the Olaya station of the Mega Cable, transfer to the Megabus, and head to the El Viajero Cuba station. There is an auxiliary route that goes to Ukumarí. You can also take a bus heading to Cartago and ask the driver to drop you off at the park entrance.

  • From Cali: Take a bus to Pereira and tell the driver to drop you off at the park entrance, which costs about $45,000 COP and takes around 4 hours. Once at the entrance, take a private car to the entrance; the cost is $7,000 COP.

  • From Manizales: Take a bus to Pereira, costing approximately $20,000 COP and taking 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once in Pereira, you can take a bus to Cartago and ask the driver to drop you off at the park entrance.
