Agua Clara is located in the municipality of Buenaventura, Valle del Cauca, approximately 45 km from the city of Buenaventura and 80 km from Cali. It is a place full of natural beauty.
To get there, you must first reach the city of Cali, so I will tell you how to get there from here.
From Cali: Take a bus to Buenaventura and tell the driver to drop you off at the crossing by the checkpoint next to the Viva Buenaventura Shopping Center. The bus to Buenaventura costs $42,000 COP and the travel time is about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
From Buenaventura (El Reten): Take a 4x4, Jeep, or Wally to Agua Clara, which costs $14,000 COP, the trip takes about 30 minutes, and you’re there!

Agua Clara offers various outdoor activities to enjoy its natural surroundings, but the main attraction is visiting El Embudo. It is necessary to go with a guide; you can hire one upon arrival in Agua Clara. I went with three other guys, and he charged me $40,000 COP per person
Being a place in the middle of the jungle, it is also perfect for birdwatching or swimming in the river.

If you plan to visit Agua Clara on your own, I recommend staying in Agua Clara to do the Embudo activity the next day.
Since it is a remote area, there is no way to book a room through Booking; you can search on your own or find a room upon arrival. That’s what I did, and I found a room for $50,000 COP
