Founded on February 2, 1608, by the religious figure Francisco de Godoy, the estate was named La Florida San Pedro Alejandrino. Over the years, it belonged to several notable families and developed into a producer of sugarcane for panela, rum, and honey.
The Quinta is located on the outskirts of Santa Marta, along Avenida del Libertador in the Mamatoco area.
