The museum is located in the Avianca Building, in downtown Bogotá. Address: Calle 16 #6-66, Floor 23, Avianca Building.
It is just a few minutes' walk from the Gold Museum, Independence Museum, Casa de la Moneda, and Plaza de Bolívar, making it ideal for combining visits.

From El Dorado Airport: You can take an official taxi for approximately $40,000 to $50,000 COP. Apps like Uber or DiDi also work.
By TransMilenio / SITP: You can use public transport; plan your trip with the TransmiSITP app. Set your destination to the Museo del Oro station and walk about 5 minutes.
From other areas: Taxi or app; it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes from central areas.

The museum showcases the history of mining and the art of Colombian emeralds, with collections ranging from rough stones to carved jewels and extraction tools.
